Yamaha’s new FZ-1 for India

The new Naked beast of a bike from Yamaha is here in India available at an ex-showroom price of Rs 8,70,000 only. This bike is the most powerful naked bike in India and it sure exudes loads of muscle and oomph for the Bike enthusiasts. The bike sports 998cc DOHC 20-valve engine which has been specially tuned to deliver high mid-range punch and massive top-end power.

Other notable features of the bike are an analog tachometer, digital speedometer, dual trip meter, odometer, water temperature and lights for neutral, high beam, low fuel and turn signals. The bike would be available in Black and White colors in India. Probably, this is the Christmas gift from Yamaha to Indian bike enthusiasts. Though its out of reach for a majority of Indian bike consumers but it has carved a niche and that too a first for itself in the ever growing Indian bike scene. With new bikes coming in almost everyday this one cannot be ignored as just another bike. Though, the actual stir in the Indian bike industry is anticipated from the Honda CBR 250, which would be more affordable and light on the pocket of the Indian consumer.
