Toyota Reveals the Etios Q in India

Toyota India has finally gone forward and revealed the new Toyota Etios Q. They have roped in the Famous Musician A.R. Rehman as the brand ambassador of this car. Going by the media buzz this car is going to be priced between 4.96 to 6.86 lacs. With this kind of a price tag and the reliability of Toyota this car is going to give a run for money to a lot of competitors in this segment. The main competitors seem like the Maruti Suzuki D-Zire, Hyundai Verna, Ford Fiesta and its possible that this car predates the VW Vento and the Honda City category, but it would be a bit too early to say this about the Toyota Etios Q.

Overall, the car seems more gentleman like rather than a beefy and sporty looking one. It sports a 16 valve DOHC Engine, with an output of 90ps, go here for the complete tech specs. Toyota is claiming great fuel efficiency, the top end VX comes with factory fitter Airbags, ABS (Anti-lock braking system), EBD (Electronic Brake Distribution) and security features such as keyless entry. The interiors seem to be having more life and appealing color tones.

You would be able to book the cars from 1st January onwards. I am looking forward as to how The Toyota Etios handles the competitors in the ever growing sedan segment in India. The Etios would definitely help Toyota increases their market share as Toyota is going to take advantage of the Innova’s and Corolla’s highly positive market image amongst the consumers. Though the initial offering is a Petrol only ,we would also be interested in seeing a diesel variant from the Toyota stables. Hopefully, The Etios would prove to be a great choice for the consumer in the new year as an entry level sedan from Toyota.

Thoughts of a lazy mind

Some thoughts by Me-
If reality was borne on the wings of dreams we would exist in beautiful chaos.
How real is reality?Is happiness real? Is pain real?Wouldn’t it be better if we could mould them as easily as our thoughts.
Love is a figment of everybody’s imagination .We created it for eternally suffering bliss.

I have a Dream

I dream about the Tulip Flowers;
I dream about the lovely rain showers;
I dream about really fast cars;
I dream about a world with no wars;
I dream about a moon without the scars;
I dream many dreams, my dreams are limitless
But, do I realize, a lifetime is a time very less.
Dreams come and dreams go
Life always seems so slow.
Time always flies by at a fast pace
Slow down my friend,life is not a race.
If you live your life with a hope
The smallest pleasures in life would give highs of dope.
Therefore my friend, don’t follow the trend
Just have a lovely dream to tend.

A movie i am really looking forward to.Supposed to be a dissection of modern day relationships.

The movie begins with the tagline-This is not a love story. This is a story about love.
The disclaimer is just as quirky-“Any resemblance to any persons living or dead is purely coincidental … Especially you, Jenny Beckman … Bitch.”
As the movie unfolds it breaks new ground in the romance/ relationship genre with a refreshing look at what makes us fall in and out of love and the vagaries of unrequited love.The movie’s atmosphere is greatly enhanced by a soundtrack using the ethereal vocals of Regina Spektor(Us and Hero), The Smiths with their modern ballads and songs that capture the essence of the moment(There’s a light that never goes out; Please please let me get what i want),the peppy track -‘You make my dreams come true’ by Hall and Oates and ‘Sweet Disposition’ by Temper Trap.
