In the era of extreme computing one also requires extreme machines and Murderbox is just that kind of a machine. Its almost like the Terminator’s heart with all those blue fluids running 24X7 to cool it while it pumps out loads of processing RPMs to the user. This CPU has been built while keeping hardcore gamers in mind and costs a whopping $6000.

The system has been custom-built to provide the ultimate in performance thanks to high-end, overclocked CPUs, liquid cooling systems, beastly GPUs, and multiple drives. Go get it if you have the dough to spare.

Yet another version of the popular Fast and Furious series and I must say this one was actually a great one. After F &F 1 and Tokyo Drift this was the one which kept the smile glued to your face all through the end. The movie is packed with the usual goodies associated with the F&F series, the revving engine, the exotic cars, the muscle cars , the awesome music and bootylicious babes. The movie setup is in Rio (and BTW Rio is fast emerging as the favored destination of many a producers ) and the movie starts at a good pace with the opening scene being the daring escape of Vin Diesel with the help of Paul Walker.

In this version we also have the muscular Dwayne Johnson also popularly known as the WWE Superstar: “The Rock” and his t-shirts in the movie are all about the burst open. The car robbery from a running train is really well shot and keeps your mouth open for gasp of fresh air and ends in a worthy climax with one of the cars falling down from the bridge in the XXX style (Vin Diesel did the similar scene in the first part of XXX too). During the train robbery three DEA agents are killed and our heroes are charged for that murder even when they have not done that.

From here on the movie reaches the notorious suburbs of Rio with all camera angles of the city during night or day starting from the back of the Redeemer. The plot is to rob the biggest notorious kingpin Rayes of all his money. So our heroes assemble a team of experts in their respective fields and hatch an interesting plot to rob Rayes. All this while the secret police office played by Dwayne is after them to kill them and bring justice to the DEA agents murdered by them. The movie is lacking thrilling races though but the chilling chases make up for the lack of races.

Rayes is neck deep into politics and the police of Rio is an accomplice for him. So against all odds he stacks up all his money in a police station in a state of the art vault and the problems increase for our heroes as Rayes men, the Rio police and Dwayne are all out to get them and despite all this they have to take Rayes money from under the noses of Police. There are some worth watching sequences and loads of attitude from Vin Diesel and Dwayne which also makes the movie worth a watch. I especially loved the entire sequence of taking the safe from the police station and taking it home safely. I would rather not break the silence on how that was achieved , its better watch glued to the theater seat. And similar to all the other movies in this series after the post casting song the plot for the next movie is revealed which has Michelle Rodriguez coming back and the plot revolves around military. Already waiting for the next release. I would rate the movie as 8/10.

Thor — a yet another adaptation of a comic from the house of Marvel, is a must watch for people who like the sci-fi, magic and action packed movies. Watching the movie in 3D adds another dimension of excitement to the action packed thriller that is Thor.

Thor , popularly known as the God of lightning is the son of Odin and the movie begins with an action packed series of events. Lightning is actually a travel medium for the Asgardians across realms (Realms is what they called parallel worlds). The movie scores very well with its great costumes and sets. The movie’s plot is predictable but yet as it unfolds it keeps you glued to your chair and wait for what happens next due to the magic weaved by the great special effects. Natalie Portman is Jane, who Thor falls in love with and whose love changes him from a risk taking boyish Thor to a more sensitive and thoughtful Thor.

The movie plot starts with Jane’s storm related experiments and then goes back into a flashback to explain the audience about the long drawn battle between the Frost Giants and Odin and how Odin had defeated the Frost Giants and seized their power source called the “Casket” and stored it on Asgard. It then takes us to Asgard, the home of Odin and Thor where Odin is about to declare Thor as the king, but is interrupted in middle by the frost giant’s attempt to seize the “Casket”. This angers Thor and  he decides to go to war with the Frost giants and destroy them once and for all. Thor has a younger brother named Loki. Due to his reckless attitude , Thor wants to just destroy the Frost Giants once and for all and eliminate their threat to all nine realms (parallel universes) in the entire universe. He and his team of four friends teleport themselves using the Bifrost bridge (guarded by Heimdall, the gatekeeper of the frost gate bridge) to Jotunheim (frost giant’s home planet) and due to this mistake of Thor his father exiles him to earth and relinquishes him of his immortal powers. He also throws the Mjolnir (his hammer) along with him and bounds the hammer with a spell that it can be wielded only by the one worthy of its use. The hammer is tried to be lifted by one and all, but they fail to do it. The government organization called SHIELD then cordones off the area to study the Mjolnir as something emitting radiations at high level and non-earthly.

Once on earth, as we have seen in many movies Thor is kind of surprised and he also surprises people surrounding him with his out of the world antics and from the time of landing and going forward he keeps bumping into Jane and they fall for each other. Meanwhile back on Asgard Loki turns bad (you have to watch the movie to know the reason for the same) and king Odin also falls ill. Loki cooks up an elaborate plan to make sure that Thor does not return to Asgard, Odin dies and he becomes the king. He conspires with the Frost giants and sends the destroyer to earth to kill Thor. Meanwhile Thor’s friends go to earth to find him and bring him back.

Our hero emerges victorious in the end with all his powers in full proportion and how he manages to do so is well to be seen in the movie. I would rate the movie 8.5/10 and again as a reminder, if you are watching in non-Imax 3D , watch it from the fourth row from the front, center corner.

Finally taking note of the over-heating tablet market Sony has woken up to the need of getting tablets out to the market and not get lost in the mad race of being the tablet leader. The Bullet should feature a 4.3-inch qHD display, at least 1GB DDR2 RAM, 16GB internal storage, and a 12-megapixel camera. The Jet would feature a QWERTY keyboard and a 4-inch screen. The camera in each device is rumored to include a new sensor, which could result in better images and bigger picture.

I am sure everyone has been bothered at some point of time with lost car or home keys somewhere in the usually crowded cupboard or some place unknown. Cobra tag is the solution to all your woes. It works on a simple principle of a Bluetooth connection between the included dongle and your iPhone, Android device, or BlackBerry to let you know if your tagged item has left the vicinity. It would  immediately sends you an email or text message with GPS coordinates when it happens, and works the other way around, too, letting you “ring” your smartphone from the PhoneTag.

Tata motors has the credit to produce the world’s cheapest car called Nano. So much for the damn roads, here is the “Nano” of aeroplanes. The FlyNano costing  approximately $36,000-$39,000 came from Q branch. It is a waterborne personal flying machine available in three models — one electric, one gas, and one racing — and able to go up to 76 mph, up to 1.8 miles high, up to 43 miles away, all while weighing roughly 150 lbs. The only thing you need to fly this thing is water to take off and land on, the good news is: “No Pilot’s License required”
